What’s included in the LX Popular Package
The Popular Package that’s available on the LX 2.4L is receiving some big upgrades for 2019. For this model year, those who indulge can take advantage of the UVO3 7-inch touchscreen that comes complete with Android Auto and eServices telematics.
This package also comes with other features including an auto defogger, automatic climate control, and an air ionizer. With all this, you are going to stay comfortable and breathe easy while in the cabin of the 2019 Kia Sportage.

New standard additions to the Sportage EX
The EX trim for the Sportage is getting the most upgrades, and all of it comes standard. This may make the EX the smartest buy out of the Sportage lineup. For starters, the EX will improve safety with standard blind spot detection as well as rear cross traffic alert.
The side mirrors are getting a big upgrade as well. Turn signals are being added to make turning intentions more visible to others. With power already in the mirrors, Kia went ahead and upgraded them even further. Now they can fold automatically, and when it’s cold, they can also heat up to defrost and clear themselves.
On the outside, the EX now does its black trim around the wheels, under the doors, and underneath the front grille in a beautiful high-gloss piano black. This means with the black exterior options, you will hardly notice the cladding, and with other colors, it will provide a nice contrast too!
Changes to the SX 2.0 T trim
All the benefits listed with the other trims come standard on the top SX 2.0 T trim. Plus, you get a powerful 2.0-liter engine with a turbocharger for even greater fun. There aren’t a lot of changes for 2019, but Kia did add an electronic parking brake with auto hold for greater convenience and ease of use.
