The cabin of the new Kia Carnival is ready for your family. In fact, the Kia MPV offers best-in-class passenger and cargo space with a maximum of 145.1 cubic feet so everyone is comfortable on every ride. You can choose between two seating configurations, giving you eight seats or seven with the second-row captain’s chairs. 

Comfort is a high priority in the Carnival, too. Seats are available in soft woven cloth, SynTex synthetic leather, or genuine leather. You can also opt for heated and ventilated front seats as well as second-row VIP Lounge Seats with headrests and leg extensions. Other upscale amenities that are available for your family include tri-zone climate control, a Wi-Fi hotspot, an in-cabin intercom and camera, and a dual-screen rear seat entertainment system.

Technology

In addition to features for family comfort, the 2024 Carnival MPV comes with tons of intuitive infotainment tech. The standard 8-inch touch-screen display works seamlessly with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ so you can use your favorite compatible apps on the go. You can also connect devices via wireless Bluetooth® or through the front console USB data port. 

Power up those devices with up to six USB charging ports or opt for the wireless phone charger on the Carnival EX and above. Additional available infotainment tech on the Carnival includes HD Radio, SiriusXM® satellite radio, and a 12-speaker Bose® premium audio system.

Capability and Power

Whether you’re running errands or heading out on a weekend adventure, the 2023 Carnival MPV has you covered. Every trim is powered by a beastly 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 290 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. That amounts to a max towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. Thanks to its smart eight-speed automatic transmission and ECO drive mode, you’ll get up to 26 mpg on the highway in the Carnival.¹

Features

Inside and out, the new Kia Carnival is equipped with all kinds of convenient features. The exterior comes with standard heated and power-adjustable side view mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, which are ideal for Ohio winters. You’ll also have LED multi-reflector headlights illuminating your path ahead. Certain trims of the Carnival come with a Smart Power tailgate that automatically opens when you’re near the rear with your key fob.

The interior offers available features like tri-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a HomeLink® garage opener, integrated window sunshades, leather or SynTex seats, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a memory driver’s seat.

Space

You’ll have enough room for either seven or eight people, depending on the seating configuration you choose. One option comes with a second-row bench seat for up to eight people total in the vehicle while the other option includes second-row captain’s chairs (seven-passenger configuration). When you fold all of the rear seats down, you’ll have an incredible 145.1 cubic feet of total cargo space to utilize.

Design

Quite possibly the most distinguishing thing about the 2023 Carnival MPV is its exterior. It stands out among the competition because it doesn’t fit into the standard “minivan” design. Instead, it has bold lines and an SUV-like frame that is ready for adventure. It also comes in various attractive colors like Deep Chroma Blue, Flare Red, and Astra Blue, among others. Those colors can be joined by Silver, Matte Chrome, or Satin Chrome accents from front to back. And depending on the trim you go with, you could see 17- or 19-inch alloy wheels in various finishes.
