As of this writing, details on the 2019 Labor Day Parade in East Akron are still sparse, but all signs point to there being one. This year the Greater Akron Young Marines will be taking part. Parking will be available at the Arlington Church of God. Keep an eye out for more details below.
Riverfront Cruise In

The Riverfront Cruise In happens every Monday, but we couldn’t think of a better day to check it out than Labor Day 2019. There can be over 300 classic cars and there’s always wonderful music, a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, and more. Be sure to check it out and maybe even start a new Monday tradition.

Who doesn’t love a fair? There’s a lot of fun to be had down at the Stark County Fair. It may be a bit of drive down to Canton, but with rides, live music, and the best fair food around, the Stark County Fair will be well worth the trip during your Labor Day weekend.

Instead of pigging out at the fair, do you want to burn some calories and get in a walk or a run? Then the Labor of Love Walk/Run put on by the Green Family YMCA may be the perfect fit this Labor Day. Pre-registration gets you a shirt, but you need to do so by August 31, so don’t forget!
