Unique features of the 2020 Kia Soul GT-Line trim
The 2020 Kia Soul lineup is even more interesting than it has been in previous years. A lot of that interest comes from the inclusion of new trim levels. The lineup still starts with the LX but goes up from there with the S, GT-Line, X-Line, EX, and the top GT-Line Turbo. It’s those GT-Line models that are particularly interesting to us. Find out why as we go over the unique features of the 2020 Kia Soul GT-Line trim.
What makes the GT-Line look different on the outside
On the outside, there is a lot that makes the Soul GT-line stand out. For starters, you have unique 18-inch alloy wheels. The GT-Line trims also feature a unique grille and rear bumper along with red accents on the front and the sides.
Smaller additions include power-adjustable side mirrors in high-gloss black, a center-mounted exhaust, and an available power sunroof that actually comes standard on the GT-Line Turbo trim. The GT-Line trim also includes three unique two-tone color options including Clear White/Inferno Red, Inferno Red/Cherry Black, and Cherry Black/Inferno Red. These options are not available on the GT-Line Turbo.

Differences between the GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo
Many of the visual differences that separate the GT-Line from the rest of the 2020 Soul lineup carry over to the GT-Line Turbo unless we have noted differently above. However, there are some tech differences too, namely with the GT-Line Turbo picking up many of the features of the EX including things like standard blind spot monitoring and the 10.25-inch color touchscreen.
The biggest difference for the GT-Line Turbo is sort of spelled out right in the name. Not only does it come with a turbo engine which isn’t present on the regular GT-Line, but it is the only trim that has this engine in the 2020 Soul lineup.
The engine is a 1.6-liter turbo that produces 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. This trim is also unique in that it utilizes a dual-clutch transmission. With this smooth, efficient, and sporty transmission, the GT-line Turbo can still provide great efficiency with 27-city and 32-highway mpg.
