A Recovery Kit
Most models don’t offer a winch system, so you’ll need the assistance of another vehicle in order to stop being stuck. The easiest way to do this is with a snatch strap and a set of shackles, ones rated for your vehicle. You’ll want a breaking strength of three to four times the weight of the model that’s stuck for the best performance.
A Couple of Old Boards
Need to repair your tire? A solid wooden surface will give you a place to put your jack, making that process easier. You can also use a few of the boards to keep your vehicle from rolling through a couple of boards. Just toss one or two wooden blanks in the trunk and forget about them until you need them.
Hand Tools and Work Gloves
Finally, you’ll want a comprehensive set of tools as well as a solid set of work gloves – cut resistant and durable ones. These will allow you to tackle a variety of issues without worry, even if you don’t really intend to use them. Better safe than sorry!
